Druid Guide

The druid is a shapeshifting hybrid class, and is also one of the most versatile classes in the game. As with every other hybrid, druids need to specialize to be effective in any role. Due to their need to shapeshift to fulfill roles, they can only perform one role at a time. Druids must switch between the different shapes in order to adapt to situations as they come.

Strengths
  • Can heal, tank, or DPS
  • Can buff other players
  • Ability to go into stealth and shapeshift
  • Has aquatic form that allows for faster swimming and no breathe

Weaknesses
  • Can only wear cloth and leather armor
  • Shapeshifted forms are not as powerful as their counterparts
  • Limited race selection

Gear to Look For
As a druid you will be limited to cloth and leather armor. If you are going to be tanking or doing melee DPS you will want to stick primarily to leather armor but if you are going to be doing DPS as a caster or healing then cloth is perfectly acceptable. Here are the different items that can benefit druids (it's a lot depending on your role, match up the stats to get with what you're doing
to the gear below).

Bandit, Eagle, Elder, Hierophant, Invoker, Monkey, Owl, Prophet, Sorcerer, Whale

Talent Templates
This is an example base build of the best form I think for grinding (cat form, melee DPS). You can basically stay in the feral tree until you get the talents I recommend, once you have all 55, it's probably best to start into the restoration tree unless you really feel you're missing something in feral.

Rotation Suggestion
Mangle, Rake until desired combo points reached, then Ferocious Bite or Rip depending on how many hit points mob has left.
