  • Can tame pets
  • Long ranged damage
  • Crowd control abilities

  • Limited down time with pet tanking

Weaknesses
  • Can only wear cloth, leather, and mail armor
  • Can be hard to keep pet alive in certain circumstances
  • Can't melee very well
  • Has to maintain a certain range to maintain ranged damage

Stats To Get For DPS:
  1. Agility
  2. Stamina, Hit
  3. Attack Power, Crit
  4. Intellect

Gear to Look For
For the most part you will avoid all cloth. Leather can be okay but most leather only comes with agility/stamina and no intellect which can be a very helpful stat. For the most part you will stay withmail armor and make sure you have a good DPS ranged weapon. Don't melee with your hunter when possible or people will make fun of you.

Here is some of the green gear you can get if you don't have anything decent:
Monkey, Bandit, Hunt, Falcon

Talent Templates
You will be doing all of your farming in the beast mastery tree. The beast mastery tree allows for your pet to put out a significant amount of damage while holding aggro so you can sit back on auto shoot if you want and go afk.

Stay in beast mastery for all of your beginning points, the focus here is to enhance your pet damage and avoidance so it can tank (this allows for almost no down time because you can heal your pet). Once you get all your points into the beast mastery tree start in marksmanship and begin working on your crit and attack power.

Rotation Suggestion
Pet attack, Arcane Shot, Multi-Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot, Arcane Shot, Mutli-Shot (auto shot fires automatically)

Major Glyphs to Get
  • Glyph of Bestial Wrath
  • Glyph of Multi-Shot
